I use the Clarion NICE nav system. The main reason I got it was for the larger screen (7 inches). It's kind of a tight fit behind the shifter, but it works. It has a huge hard drive (can hold 10 gigs of mp3's, besides all the maps), and has a Sirius Radio option as well as a/v hookups for a dvd player. It will also speak the road names, I think it'll do all the ones I've come across (however I may just be in an area that doesn't get more complex than I-80 or 1st Ave). Price was pretty inexpensive, around $750 at Abe's of Maine ($1,000+ elsewhere). Althought you can't get a Redline or Slingshot face, the brushed aluminum doesn't look too different than the satin chrome.

Only downfall is that the choice between an onboard speaker, or FM transmitter, neither work exceptionally well, especially over long distances. But I like my music loud, if that's not your style, you might be able to hear the internal speaker prompt.

Just another option to consider.
