I have a Tom Tom. It works very well and I can toss it in the console when I'm not using it. I put it next to the rearview mirror so I can see it fairly well (might work better if I wore my glasses  ) I used it on my last trip to IL and it shaved about 100 miles off my trip. I even missed a turn or two and it recomputed the route so I would have to turn around to check the turn.(In some cases) Definitely a man's toy so we'll never have to ask for directions
