Must be a lot of auction activity...

I've seen an unusual number of SSR's out front of used car lots of various dealers lately. The Pontiac/Nissan dealer has a Slingshot, the Chevrolet dealer has a Redline and a Smokin Asphalt (6 speed, too). The only dealer I know who had a new one is Serra, who had a Pacific Blue with bright chrome on the show room a few weeks ago.

The most curious, though, goes to Serra's '04 Ultra Violet. That truck was in their inventory back when I went to look at '05's in January '05. I looked at it. I looked at it again in October '05 when I bought my '05 SA. It's still there. It was on the show room again for several weeks, not it sits outside again.

I don't get it. They must be holding out an unsellable price on it. It's new. They had incentives to move it. But nope. still there.
