One thing you might check out is that both the doors have a tendancy to rattle on rough surfaces. I thought the rattles were coming from the top storage compartment but found that is was, in fact, the doors. It does'nt appear there is any adjustment in the door latches...

You can test this theory by merely putting the top down, close the driver side door and give it a couple of shakes. Mine proved not to be tight against the rubber seals.
