I'm new and you would think some site offers engine chrome parts for SSR. I have not found one yet!

Yes, I still believe that the best chance we have are the parts for the Corvettes. Again, I could not get a definitive answer on fit up to an SSR from some of these suppliers that I checked with thus far.
As I said it will probably be trial and error. What I did recently at a Corvette Club cruise-in (all rides welcome) was ask one of the guys if I could check to see if his chrome window washing cap cover would fit over mine.....he let me try it, and it did not fit.
Bright chrome engine dress up parts are ususally never "cheap", so don't be surprised at the cost. Your best bet for some of the covers, might be as you say, a "homemade one", or getting a stock one chrome plated if possible.
