Thanks. The complete interior bright chrome parts package is high on my priority list. I'm going to get it done, one way or the other. That's a must have, particularly with all the chrome done and yet to be done on the outside. I'm also hoping that "tommyzdesign" can come through with bright chrome overlays for the 3 lower front grill bars as well. My next definite mini-project is to get the gold portions of the front and rear bowties bright chrome plated as well.
Like yourself, I definitely want to do the engine caps. I did go ahead and buy one of those bright chrome oil fill caps from "eBayer, "autodinamics" (esrperformance@aol.com). This item was first posted by "DakotaDocMartin" and you can see info. on it in post #128 of this thread. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. It is very well made, a real good piece of work. I got the version with the "LS2" domed decal. Below are a couple of photos. I still have had no luck in getting vendors to commit to say that their available chrome or billet caps/cap covers for LS2 engines in the C6 Corvette would work on the SSR. If any fanatics who own C6 Corvettes out their could verify this for us, that would be greatly appreciated.
