Looks like it worked so here's the story: Bob was the supervisor of the dept. that worked with the outside vendors devloping the convertible top mechanism just before He retired. When Bob took me in His SSR to the corvette Show at the Tech Ctr last Spring I was so impressed I said "Bob I gotta get one of these". which I did. SO at the once a month GM Design Staff Engineering Retirees lunch Bob said "This is the first meeting of the GM Design Staff Retirees SSR Club".
