Ross is right. Our rear assembly is from the Trailblazer/Envoy and they had to keep the trackbar as close to the diff cover as possible, to make room for the spare tire on them. I am guessing that this is the reason it is flattened tubing and not round. The track bar is VERY close to the diff cover and has been a limiting factor in getting someone to make a diff cover casting. A 3/4" dogleg around the cover would do nicely. I have a manufacturer in CA that was considering making a cover for us, but the distance to the trackbar limits the amount of fluid and size of fins too much.
