Seat Comfort

I have been reviewing the forum since I joined. I have not seen anyone address this issue. My wife and I drove to Southern Missouri from the KC area. By the time we got to our destination she was ready to find another way back. She and I have to agree to some part the seats are really hard. Do they get more comfortable as we use the SSR. I have a 2005. Since we got it I have put on maybe 3000 miles.
