Although I`ve never heard of it being applied to an SSR seat, I have heard that you can get an inflatable camping pillow very reasonably at a camping store. They offer major adjustabiliy, light weight, and endless other uses. I haven`t had issues with my seats in our 06, but I keep this pillow in the back of my mind, in case. Good luck........Paul
