I have a remote starter but didn't opt for the remote roof. I forsee too many problems. Its a touchy system to start off with.

My son's Z4 has the remote roof as standard equip.

And for the people who have the 6 speed. I just had a remote starter put in my 6sp Toyota FJ Crusier. You just have to remember to keep it in neutral when you shot it off.
