Springfield Agenda, Info & Registration
Here is the agenda and the General Information Sheet for the Springfield Super Rally. There may be a few changes made as more details are confirmed. The Official Registration Form and the sign up sheet for the activities that require pre-payment will be posted in a couple weeks.
I just added attachments for the 'Registration Form' and 'Activities Sign Up Sheet' at the bottom of this post. Please open them, print them, fill them out and mail them to me. Mailing info is on the registration form.
SPRINGFIELD SUPER RALLY AGENDA
SUNDAY, JUNE 10TH
We have been invited to participate in a fund raising Auto Cross by the local SCCA. This is a fundraiser for the local animal shelter. Donation $20.00 per driver.
9:00 AM until 10:30................Registration.
11:00 AM until 3:00 PM................Timed runs.
12 NOON until 4 pm………Registration
12:00 NOON until dark… ..Car wash area available.
Basketball, volleyball and baseball facilities available.
6 pm until ?........………… Welcome party in atrium, pool area and parking lot. BYOB & munchies

MONDAY, JUNE 11TH
9 am until Noon………….Registration (Registration packets available at front desk for later check-ins.)
10:00 am…………………Depart for Rivercut Golf Course. Tee time 11:00 am – Green fee $32.00
10:30 am…………………Drivers meeting in parking lot for those going on a run. Cruise etiquette, maps and
leader and back door will be chosen. Bring your 2-way radios.
11:00 am…………………Triple C Run departs. Lunch at the W&W Café in Hurley, if you want.
Roller Coaster run departs. Lunch in Buffalo or Marshfield, if you want.
Both runs approximately 2 to 3 hrs.
3:30 pm…………………First group leaves for Lambert’s to PIG OUT, so eat a light lunch. The people who
want to race their trucks at the Drag Strip should be in this group. Meal $13.50
3:45 pm…………………Second group leaves for Lambert’s.
4:00 pm…………………Third group leaves for Lambert’s.
6:00 pm………………….Drag Racing begins at the Ozark International Drag Strip.
9:00 pm………………….Bowling & Billiards at the Battlefield Lanes.
TUESDAY, JUNE 12TH
9:00 am………………….Drivers meeting in parking lot for BRANSON RUN and shopping.
Divide up in groups of 12 – Lead and back door trucks selected and maps
distributed..
9:30 am……………….....People who want to go shopping before the ’57 Heaven Car museum tour
will depart.
10:30 am………………… If you do not want to go to Branson, you can set up your own group to do either
the ‘Triple C’ or the ‘Roller Coaster Run’. Interested parties meet in the parking lot.
10:45 am………………….Drivers meeting in parking lot for those who want to go directly to the ‘57
Heaven Car Museum and the show at the Dick Clark Theater.
11:00 am…………………People who want to go straight to the ’57 Heaven Car Museum and/or show
will depart. ’57 Heaven Museum $15.00 (Pay at the door) / Dick Clark Theater $28.00 /
Combo ticket, Museum & Show $36.00
12:00 to12:30 pm………. Arrive at ’57 Heaven/Dick Clark Theater for special secured parking. The
American Bandstand Grill is open for lunch. You can begin the Museum tour as
soon as you are parked.
2:00 pm………………….Danny and the Juniors show begins at the Dick Clark Theater.
5:00 to 8:00 pm………….Show & Shine at the Steak & Shake on Glenstone Ave. Bring chairs, eat at your
leisure, and vote for special trophies.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13TH
10:00am…………………Drivers meeting in parking lot.
10:30 am………………… Triple C Run departs. Lunch at the W&W Café in Hurley if you want.
Roller Coaster run departs. Lunch in Buffalo or Marshfield if you want.

2:00 pm…………………..Fantastic Caverns Tour departs. $13.50 per person / Group rate with at least
20 people. This is a riding tour. You do not have to walk.
4:00 pm……………………Remote Control Autocross in parking lot. Any R/C vehicles welcomed.
6:00 pm…………………..Cocktails, no host bar, in the Oasis Convention Center.
7:00 pm…………………...Dinner $25.00 per person. Includes tax and gratuity.
8:00 pm……………………Program begins.
10:00 pm………………….Sonic Run for dessert.
NOTE: There will be tours of the Springfield Limousine Company available. They manufacture stretched limos. We do not have the tour times available yet. We will post as soon as we get them.
You can also visit the Bass Pro Shop, Wonders of Wildlife, Springfield Brewing Co. and the Grizzly Tool Works at your leisure. Maps to there locations will be in your packet.
THURSDAY, JUNE 14TH
9:00 am…………………..Full Buffet Farewell Breakfast in the Oasis Convention Center. $14.00 per
person. Includes tax and gratuity.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Registration table will be open Sunday, June 10th in the afternoon and again on Monday, June 11th from 9:00 a.m. – noon. If you miss us, registration packets will be given to you at the front desk when you check in.
2. The car wash facilities will be available behind the convention center. We will supply buckets, towels and a hose.
3. The Oasis serves a continental breakfast: yogurt, cereal, juice, rolls, etc. There are many restaurants within walking distance if you want a hot cooked breakfast or lunch
4. The Fire and Ice Lounge/Restaurant in the hotel is very nice
5. There will be maps available for all our day cruises, local attractions and other activities
6. You may go on any of the day cruises (Roller Coaster or Triple “C”) on Mon./Tues or Wed.
7. Be sure to read the cruise etiquette carefully because we want everyone to enjoy and have a safe cruise with the group. We’ll be sending you out in groups of 10 – 12 with a leader and a caboose.
8. Please bring 2-way radios if you have them……..needed for the day cruises
9. Bring your folding chairs for the parking lot party and Show and Shine
10. Be sure to set your trip meter when leaving your home…..prize for the SSR that travels the most distance
11. We have arranged for the hotel van to transport groups of shoppers who want to go shopping at the Battlefield Mall…….scheduled times to be posted on the message board
12. Bring your remote control autos or trucks……..we’ll run an autocross in the back parking lot
13. We have selected the Rivercut Golf Course for golfing……it is a beautiful resort level course and our special rate is only $32.00 for green fees and cart
14. We will schedule several tours to the Springfield Limousine factory…..it’s only about ½ mile from the hotel
15. Don’t miss the ’57 Heaven car and lifestyle collection………really well done. If you go to “old” downtown Branson, be sure to stop at Dick’s Five & Dime Store…what a store!
16. Hopefully we have planned events that will appeal to many of you. On some days you will have to pick and choose or just relax and enjoy your new friends at the hotel. Remember you are welcome to attend any event as a participant or a spectator.
17. Fantastic Caverns: You may go as a group as scheduled (at a much reduced group rate) or you may go as individuals.
18. There will be a message board set up in the lobby. We’ll post the agenda and you can write messages to individuals or to the whole group anytime.
19. The Oasis Hotel has a small fitness center, enough machines for 6 people. The Bondo Princess will lead an exercise / fitness walk / line dance class in the AM.............times to be posted.
20. The Oasis Hotel has valet laundry service or washers and dryers available to guests.
