However, Revolution Brake Company is considering a brake kit. I have already provided them with the specs they need to build the kit. They are ready to start, and could have the first kit ready in about 2 months. This would be for a full front and rear kit.

They would like to get a minimum of 5 SSR owners comitted to buying a kit before proceeding. The final cost will be determined by whether or not they get the minimum 5 orders. They have a deposit from me already, and could start on mine, but the cost to do a one-off kit only would be unreasonably high (at least for me!!!).

They built a brake kit for my wife's PT Cruiser, and it is great, so I know they can build a quality kit for our SSRs. Every time I drive her car, I wish I had a better brake kit on my SSR. Big brakes, big difference in performance.

Of those who expressed interest in the Brembo Kit, how many would be interested in signing up for a Wilwood Kit instead? I'll start the list here, and as soon as we have 5, I'll forward to Revolution Brake Company and we can get started.

So, here's the Wilwood list:

1. AKWARES
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
more?

Add your name here and let's see if we can get this project off the ground. We need a beefed up braking system for our heavy SSRs, especially if we're going to make them faster.

AKWARES
Wilwood is 5 minutes from my house. I have gone over to the plant and talked to the reps when I was thinking of upgrading my Grand National.
Their systems seem reasonably priced compared to Brembo.
My one question is this-Is it because we are 6 lugs that we can't adapt larger GM brakes, as are used on Vetts?? Oh yes, add me to the list.
