Cack: The only REAL fix so far is a non-GM one that will cos you some money.

Order a metal matrix composite driveshaft from Dennis Reinhart (do a search for "MMC driveshaft" or "Dennis Reinhart" to find all the info which has been posyed here on this forum many times).

GM did NOT solve this before discontinuing production, and will certainly not do so now that the SSR is out of production.
