In the shop for eight days and here's what happened
1)
Leak on Retractable Top
They reinstalled & realigned the folding top weatherstrip. Steve did tell me they followed Fuzzy's fix on that.
When I washed the
today.........no water was inside
2)
The cowl & HVAC area
(Passenger side leaking water under dash and on to floor boards)
They unplugged the cowl drain and we were told that they sealed up around the HVAC. My Steve will be checking this out to be sure.
The only way I can test this is by getting caught in another downpour...you can bet your sweet Boop......I'll be looking for one
3)
Passenger Door
Steve did tell me they worked on this......toying with it till they got it right. It now shuts properly and the window engages in the rubber seal nicely!!!
They will not replace the carpet for me. I have to fight GM over that
I will be putting in a complaint. In the meantime....... being sure that I have no more water leaks before installing my new carpet!!!!
All I can do now is drive it and test it in the rain........
