This was our first SSR event as well and I must say that we were overwhelmed with the warmth and kindness that we were shown. This really is a "family" and it is hard to believe until you experience it first hand. We want to thank everyone for accepting us and making us feel a part of the group and especially the wonderful new friends that we met and look forward to seeing again.
On a side note; my garage queen (2 1/2 years old and 4000 miles) survived it's first night outside of a garage and even found out what rain feels like without experiencing any permanent psychological damage.
Once again, thanks to LLoyd and Gerry and everyone who helped to plan and organize this event and bringing it to a central part of these great United States so that even people who have been unable to attend other events farther away now know what we have been missing and will work harder to try and find ways to make other events a reality.
