THEY MAKE A SUBSTITUTE FOR R-12 CALLED AUTO FROST ITS COLDER THEN R-12 AND CHEAPER I USE IT ALL THE TIME...I USE 134A WITH ULTRA VIOLET LEAK DETECTION DYE.THEY BOTH WORK EXCELLENT....
