Breakfast
Elite Restaurant - 340 Main St. old fashioned restaurant like every small town used to have. Last time we ate there, they still served milkshakes in the metal containers.
Shades on Main - 1909 Main St. - long time local breakfast favorite
Bear's Den - 950 West Westminster - close to Sentes Chevrolet on the Travelodge property.
Lakeside on the patio- right in the hotel, outside the front doors. On a nice day, can't beat it.
Lunch
Naramata Pub - part of the wine cruise, so you need to drop in to get your card validated for the poker run. Great place for a noon or early afternoon meal to tide you over till after the parade.
Barrel Room Bistro at Hillside Winery - one of the wineries on the cruise - also good lunch meno.
Red Rooster Winery - also on the wine cruise, good lunch menu on their outdoor patio. Stunning views of the Okanagan Valley. They have a very cool old pickup on the corner of the property for photo ops.
Welcome to Red rooster Winery
I would recommend continuing beyond the wineries and the pub into the town of Naramata.
Naramata Heritage Inn & Spa - 3625 - 1st St. - very old, restored hotel. The Cobblestone Wine Bar is a great setting for lunch.
Dinner
Hooded Merganser - over the water at the Lakeside. It will be very busy. I would recommend getting reservations if possible for groups of 6 - 8 people. Great food. The yam fries are a must. The hotel also has the Barking Parrot bar and Magnums, a more formal dining room.
Salty's Beach House - close to the Sicamous. Indoors, or upstairs, or on the patio. Great food, great attitude, really fun place to be.
Mykonos - 3 blocks up on Main St. Run by the same family since we moved here in 1979. Pizzas, lasagna, greek dishes
Theos - by far the most popular local hangout seems like it's been there forever. Family run, excellent greek food
La Casa Ouzeria - 1090 Main St. driving distance, Greek and Italian. Excellent food.
Lee's Overseas Delights - 139 Westminster Ave - two blocks up from the beach. Small, family run sushi, japanese and some chinese dishes. Cash only. We try to get there at least a couple times a month. Closes at 8 PM. The chicken teriyaki and salmon teriyaki boxes are great value.
Lee's Fusion - 2007 Main St. - just south of the Super Wash car wash. An upscale Japanese/West coast menu. Newly opened, great food. Huge selection of sushi.
Earl's - 1848 Main St. - their clam chowder is excellent. Nice range of dishes.
Black Iron Grill and Steakhouse - 152 Riverside - on the Days Inn property. Haven't made it there yet, but very good reports on their steaks.
Dream Cafe - 67 Front St. On a very colorful old street, only a couple blocks from the beach. Quaint, small, very different, multi-cultural menu
Front Street Bar and Bistro - 151 Front St. Their outdoor cafe is great - lots of hot rod traffic cruising by
