I have a Ricochet '05 6 speed and have the exact same problem with my clutch as you describe.
I have just 600 miles on her and have driven around 120 miles today and had the problem all the time. It is especially noticable in 1st and 2nd when the truck lurches as the clutch engages too quickly.
It hasn't stuck to the floor yet but just doesn't feel right and is real hard to drive smoothly.
When releasing the clutch it feels like the pedal is not pushing against your foot, kind of sticking, and then suddenly catches up with you and engages too quickly.
It feels like a bad cable........ if it had one !

I have a problem that I am from England (no, that's not the problem) and have no dealer to return it to.
Do you have the part numbers for the 2 cylinders and the line ? Also do you think it was just the line or was this just coincidence and they maybe realigned or adjusted something else while they were changing the line (possibly accidentally!) ?

I am coming over for a vacation in 3 weeks time to Fort Lauderdale and want to try to buy the correct parts while I am over so I can sort this out myself.

I really would appreciate your help as I am not sure where to start with this problem.

Also does anyone know a dealer or have a contact in a parts dept. who would be helpful with these parts in Fort Lauderdale or Orlando areas ???

Thanks a lot,
Rob

PS I find the shift very long and have ordered a short throw shifter - will post to let you know how it goes unless any of you have done this already ??
Just saw your message..
Here's the list of parts from the service invoice. BTW, I'm now at ~ 3000 miles with no further clutch issues (fingers crossed of course).
15232236 Actuator
89060078 Cylinder (twice)

Personally, I would be tempted to disassemble the new parts and inspect for scratches and/or contamination before use if I were the one to be doing the R&R. I'm also curious about the materials used. If they are dissimilar and the piston material has a higher CTE I may try to increase the clearance.

Lets us know how the short throw shifter works out as I agree the throw is a bit too long. I'm just thinking the side to side may lose some feel and it may be harder to fidnd the right gears.. with the short throw.
