I had that problem drag racing a few years back what caused the problem was the pressure plate springs not being strong enough changed the pressure plate cured it for awhile then later on the clutch pedal would be out where it was supposed to be the muncey transmission was in gear but the motor was doing 9000 and it was like in between gears until I lifted the throttle then when the rpm's dropped it was in gear but the race was over everyone thought that I had missed a shift but actually the weights on the 3rd-4th gear syncro were heavy and would float when shifting over 7000 changed to lighter weights worked fine after that....
I would think the problem that your having would be something else....Just fuel for thought...
