Question about factory warranty....

Hello Fanatics: Well I was going to order this servo too, until my Chevy Dealer told me (Srv mgr.) that even though it is a gm part,if the vehicle is modified, they wouldn't honor any needed warranty work! Now,my thought was if there is a need for a fix and gm has it in their parts inventory, why can't someone at gm
create a TSB to allow this model servo to be installed without any jeopardy to
warranty coverage?! Sounds like a no brainer to me!
