They also buried a 1998 Plymouth Prowler in 1998, It is enclosed in a air tight aluminum container, that is pressurized with gas to keep it dry, It is located just outside of Tulsa, and will be opened in 2048. They believe the Belvedere was flooded by a water main break back in 1976, not far from where the car was buried. The time capsule that was enclosed in the vault, came out perfect, The steel was 3/4 inch thick, probably could have sat in water another 50 years without damage.
