Low end power

Hey all! I am new to the forum, but have had my 2004 SSR for about 2 1/2 years. Just found this site about 3 weeks ago when looking for a tuner (went with the Predator). I have found sooooo much good info, it is amazing. And just in time. Since then, I have had my cooling fan fail, and also had them check out the notorious drive shaft "tink" noise. Both the stock fan and the drive shaft were replaced, and Ol' Yeller is back in action.

I am also looking at going to a Flowmaster muffler for my 2004. Also considering dualing all the way back, but I need to read more here on this site and see what others have done that worked well. I will either do a Super 44 if I stay non-dual although change it to dual past the muffler, or go full dual. If anyone has a good shop in the north Dallas area (I am NE of McKinney) that does good work, please let me know. I want to be sure that I get a good shop that does good work.

Again, I have not read the entire forum yet, but has anyone done a full dual system back, including dual cats, mufflers, etc? If so, what were the results for power, and what are the things I need to look out for? I am currently fully stock on the engine and drivetrain, other than the Predator tuner and an Amsoil filter.

I would love to get some low-end power, at least enough to get some noise out of the tires off the line. Right now, even with TC off, I get nadda. I know it is a heavy truck, so I may just be battling physics. I am not really looking to replace the rear gears to a 4.10, etc at this point in time. Funny that I am worried about squealing tires, since I am not a real wild man when it comes to driving Ol' Yeller, but I would like to have it there for some fun every now and then.

Thanks to all who have posted and given me sooo much info in the short time I have been here. Great to have this kind of info available. I will assist anytime I can. If you are in the Dallas area and need anything, let me know.

Thanks all!
