I have read the other posts about the Super 40's not being very loud, and they went to straight pipes. I guess it is all subjective and comes down to just what the driver wants for sound.
I will have to do some more research on the various FlowMasters and try to make a decision. Hopefully I can find a good exhaust shop here in Dallas that can assist me in the final process.
Thanks!

Well when I got the SSR I had a super charger put on it and it run pretty good 13.80's at 101 so I wanted it to sound good so that winter I got a Flowmaster cat back system made for the SSR with 50, Sounded good, The next summer I had a set of SuperMaxx headers with hi flow cats and it was about right then, Good sound when you got on it and after you got up to speed you could talk, Hear the CD, Then last year I had a set of Comp mag 1.85 rockers with rpm kit and dual bee hive springs and that put it right on the line, Just a little to loud getting on it but not bad after you were up to speed, I liked it and everyone that heard it said it had it own sound, They loved it, Put out 408 RWHP and 497 RWTQ and run mid 12's at 108, Well now I put the 5.3 on a engine stand and built a LS3 with Dart 225 heads, Eagle balanced stroker crank, H rods, JE pistons, Had the headers, Cats and crossover pipe coated, Lingenfelter did the block and machine work so I asked them what would be the best cam for this engine and they said hands down for a super charged LS3 the GT2-2, Over 600 lift with my rockers but acts like stock on the street and toped off with a Razor alcohol injection, Noting radical but man is it loud now, And it run good before but this thing is unreal now
