When I had mine Dyno tuned, they said the throttle response has a two second delay from the factory.
The Dealer will NOT change that. My throttle response has been changed to 100%.
When I touch the throttle, I have no delay.
They had my computer out and on the bench to make the changes, which included, throttle response, quicker shift pattern, fan set to come ON at 185 degrees and BELOW 35mph.
Also the factory had a speed limiter set on the computer at 105mph. They removed that. We tuned to 128mph. Gas milage went up 3mpg on 87 octain.
That was with 3:73 standard gears, I have changed the gears to 4:10 and lost the 3mpg on the highway. It did improve city milage and I believe that is because it can move the weight easier w/lower gears.

Shoot, I may even try going back to 87 octane with the Diablo 87 tune to see how much pep it adds. Heck, just the changes to the shift points would be a great addition! If performance on the 87 is good, I may stay there. I need to see if the extra $7.50/fill-up for the hi-octane fuel is really worth it for my driving habits. With no tire squealing capabilities (that would be worth $7.50/fill) if I were to want to, it may just be money down the hole for my normal tame driving style.
I will still have to look into a new Flowmaster. At least give it a deeper growl, even if the bark will be worse than the bite.
Thanks all!
