I can't speak for the refurbished ones... but, the Dyson is the way to go when buying a vacuum. All others just leave the dirt and you figure you must have gotten it. Especially when you spend some serious money for an Electrolux (I bought two of them), Kirby (another high dollar POS), I could go on and on...
