Phoenix Transmission

After having a cam, headers, exhaust and tune by RPM I was amazed at the power difference. After all that it still was not enough off the line. I had Phoenix install a torque converter and WOW! It will now boil the tires when you stomp it. They build their own converters specifically for the SSR. If you really want to launch your SSR I HIGHLY recommend getting a converter from Phoenix. They are about 100 miles from me but the drive was worth it. They installed it while I waited (about 3 hours). If you're not in the area they can ship you one and have your local tranny shop install it. Only problem now is trying to keep my foot out of it. The local Carrolton police were not impressed the other day when they caught me playing. It didn't help that it's screaming red, loud and my license plate says HOT2GO.
