The SSR, unlike old style vehicles when we used to turn on the 'heat' during overheating, benefits with the a/c on...it keeps the fans running - if they're working, that is and unless you've had a reprogram of the on/off temps, fan won't come on until you've reached around 226 (I think)...might be time for a Mike in AZ aftermarket replacement
