Winery Run Saturday May 17th

So here are the plans for next Saturday, thus far:

Meet in Warrenton, VA, at 11:00 AM, at the Starbucks on BR 29/15. It's located in a strip mall in front of a Safeway. About 1/4 to 1/2 mile down from Country Chevrolet and the Sheets gas station.

We'll drive about 5 miles out of Warrenton, and stop at our first winery, Unicorn. From there, we'll head out the back way, hit Route 688, and head over to Miracle Valley Vineyard. This is a nice place for a picnic lunch, if all are game. From there we'll take 55 West out to Markham, and head up the mountain to Naked Mountain Winery.

This gives us 3 wineries, spread out over time (so nobody's DUI); a picnic lunch; and some beautiful driving on scenic VA backroads. Oh, so y'all know - if the weather's nice, there will probably be a , and a loudmouth (Dave's Harley).

How does this sound? Now to figure out how to pull off the picnic lunch.

We're saving "our" winery until another time when the owner/winemaker isn't out "festival-ing" (there is a wine festival in Front Royal Saturday).
