Afew more thoughts on the install

We will be shipping out some spoiler soon so I wanted to share a couple more thoughts on installation untill I get a official set of directions made up.

When drilling into the wheel lip use a 1/16 drill for the pilot hole. Then enlarge the hole in the spoiler only to 3/16 to allow the 1/8 screw to have some room for expansion and contraction of the spoiler and also not to split the plastic.
All the spoiler will come with the backside coated with Dupont Variprime (615 and 615s , a self etching primer) Glueing to abs plastic can get tricky and my initial thoughts were to supply adhesion promotor wipes. Variprime will stick to abs even if it is not sanded, its adhesion is that good. Windshield uethane sticks to Variprime but not directly to abs. So basically you will have a surface coated with a paint product that will accept the two way tape and urethane glue with no problem. Putting some color on the backside over toward the wheelwell would look nice also. In retrospect, I would of painted the backside of this spoiler black while painting the octogan mesh except I installed the mesh afterwards on this one. All spoilers will come with the mesh preinstalled.
