Probably not the best expression, WOW, I'll agree. However, if a purchaser's motivation in paying full price or higher in 2003 was thinking (or more properly speculating) that he'd sell used in 2006 for DOUBLE THAT PRICE because the SSR would be so popular everybody in the USA would have to have at least one, I'd call that an ERROR.
And if the purchaser in question got a great deal . . . thousands below MSRP when he purchased his truck, he can hardly use that as a selling point later on in showing the big disparity between what was the NEW value of his truck and how "little" he is selling it for today. All the time indirectly stating, as Rebel says, that it'll be worthless in 18k miles. .
I talked with a guy who paid $17,000 for his and it had about 2k miles on it.
(The womans husband died shortly after they bought it and she just wanted to get rid of it).
