Changing the battery is pretty routine. You do have to raise the vehicle or crawl under it to get to the battery carrier. To jump start the truck, raise the hood and find the red battery post cover on the passenger fender. Remove the cover and hook the positive jumper cable to the red post and the negative cable to a good ground on the engine. If the battery is dead, it will need to charge for several minutes before you attempt to drive very far. Good luck.
