Bronco: When he says "disarm TC", he means turn the traction control off manually, so you can drive in the meantime while you get the problem resolved.
As for the problem, if you used a microtuner to make the change, I am having trouble seeing what could go wrong. Usually, on microtuners, the chocies are very specific and clear - you simply pik the correct ratio that matches what was physically installed, and the microtuner makes the necessary changes in the ECM coding.
IF you had actually used tuning software instead, making the change is MUCH more error prone. On the EFILive software for example, it is compeltely non-intuitive. If you chnage the field that LOOKS like the one to change, it screws up, ebcause that is actually a CALULATED field. The correct field is elsewhere on the screen. (Hard to descirbe this is a thread posting, but trust me, it is very confusing even to professionals).
IF you used a microtuner as you state you did, assume that the chnage you made did not take hold due to some interference (cell phone for example, or Sat Nav or any number of other devices on the vicinity). Do it again, observing ALL the cautions that the mocrtuner instructions list (ALL of them!!!).
