Yep, it works since it has a very mild abrasive in it. I've used Simichrome on my windshield before. As I said, it works good, but it is a rather expensive way to clean one's windshield. I only use it occasionally on real stubborn water spots/etching.

So how do you use the toothpaste? Do you let it dry to a haze, or just polish it off wet?
