Dreaded Ignition Switch???

I drove Jewel home from work last nite and at the first stop on the way, no problem. The second stop, when I started her, she'd immediately die after an attempt at a very rough idle. After about 4 trys, I could keep her idling. I then drove to meet Boyce for dinner, shut her off. Then thought that I should try to restart her. Same as before, after about 4 tries, I got her to keep running. I went to dinner, came out and started her on the first try, but she doesn't sound right. The speedometer isn't working right, would take off from a stop sign and the the needle wouldn't move, then all a sudden it would jump to 40 mph. The aux gauges aren't working; no torque or voltage.

I noticed the last few days when I started her, I would get a low voltage flash on the hard wired radar detector that I have never had previously.

Is this the dreaded ignition switch problem?? I'm taking her to the dealer tomorrow am, but want to call them today and let them know what I think the problem is, so they can be ready.
