Just a small update that has come up in the last couple weeks. We are happy with the drive height and the stance of the truck but it just doesn't have that "WOW" look that we are after when parked. So to take care of that we are gonna change the suspension a wee bit. We are gonna bag it! The system we plan to use will be an upgrade over the stock setup resulting in better handling as well as the ability to drop the the truck a couple inches at rest. (forget about driving the truck in the down position!) This will allow us to "present" in a fashion never before seen with an SSR.
Granted bags are not for everyone, but done in a tastefull fashion they can really set off the overall look of the truck.
The metal work is done as of today and everything is being media blasted and getting a coating of DP-90 prior to going to bodywork. I will be doing the body and paint prep myself on this project, so I have lots of sweaty days ahead. I don't mind tho, it means I get to sculpt the finished product, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Kind of A MY BABY thing.
I'll be sure to post any other new changes that may come up,...and I'm sure there will be a few.
Later, Scott
