I'm still running the original GYs on the front, I had too much fun with the rears and they where getting slick. I didn't want to take a 3,000 mile trip with them. I was never happy with the GYs I have a 6 speed and you couldn't take off at any RPM above idle or they would spin. If I got on it good they would spin all the way thru first and second. I was almost afraid to drive it on wet roads. The Toyo's are much better wet or dry. I have 28,000 miles on the front tires and they are still not bad. I did have the front end aligned and set the camber at 0 and don't see any handling problems. It was a toss up between the Toyo's and the BFG KDW2s but I heard from a lot of people even the tire man that they are noisy.
