I've tried to go green and use it but found my mileage drops 15 to 20% depending on the car and it really made my 76 vette smell funny, not like it was running rich and more like a french fry?
If you can smell the Ethanol, I think someone added more than 10%. I used to race various classes of race Cars and Even GO-Carts. Really fast Baby's.
I mixed my own fuels and normally you won't smell ethanol until you put about 30% to 70% premium Gas. But I wasn't running a Cat Converter either.
20% drop in Fuel economy may give a good indication of more Alky than specified on the pump.
