Hi

I have a 06 with the 5120 Kenwood, using the extra controls to have the steering wheel controls and all the chimes working. I had an issue about 2 weeks ago in the morning on start up the volt meter was all the way to the end of the scale and vibrating off the end. I found that in about 5 minutes the volt meter dropped to about 15 volts. Then the auto head lights went off and then the volt meter when to 13.5 or 14 and all was ok. This happen several times and we pulled of the wire from the alternator and the meter would also go back to normal. Had it into the dealer and they said they tested the system with guess what NO PROBLEMS. This may have been from the radio draining the battery?? enough that the alternator was working to full charging capacity, and the regualtor in the alternator not working?? If anyone has had this problem please send me a thread.
