I found that in about 5 minutes the volt meter dropped to about 15 volts. Then the auto head lights went off and then the volt meter when to 13.5 or 14 and all was ok. This happen several times and we pulled of the wire from the alternator and the meter would also go back to normal. Had it into the dealer and they said they tested the system with guess what NO PROBLEMS. This may have been from the radio draining the battery?? enough that the alternator was working to full charging capacity, and the regualtor in the alternator not working?? If anyone has had this problem please send me a thread.

Thank you for your response. When I first started having problems, the volt meter fluctuated between 12 & 14.5 regularly. I even took some digital photos to show the dealer. They, too, kind of shined it on saying that there were no problems with the vehicle, while generously throwing the "A-word" (Aftermarket) around implying that the 5120 is the problem. I have not seen the volt meter dip below 13 in 6-weeks or so. Let's hope one of us can get to the bottom of this soon! I will keep everyone posted on my progress (or lack thereof).
