I definitely agree with you about Bill Heard. I'll never return to that dealership.

Thanks

I know it takes time to establish a good relation with any repair shop. I, to this day will take my cars and trucks back to Baytown to an independent shop. That shop is about 35 miles one way from where I live in Liberty. If the car/truck can't make it to Baytown I will use my local GM dealer. The local GM shop does good work and will listen when I talk to them, the service writers and mechanics know me by first name, and usually ask me about my old GTO and the SSR if I am in one of the other Chevy trucks.

I am sure Lone Star has MANY satisfied customers. You don't get to be a high volume dealer if you piss ALL your customers off. With all that said, here goes.

About 3 years ago Lone Star came with high praises from a fellow gear head for an engine rebuild with increased HP and performance for an 1996 LT4 Vette. All internal, high quality parts were bought and delivered to Lone Star along w/the car. It was no secret to Lone Star what the expected results were to be and "they" accepted the car and parts with open arms. What followed was 9 weeks of lies, incompetence, missed delivery dates, excuses, installation of a cheap and incorrect crank. (W/O our knowledge and was found by an independent shop 2 years later) 3 trips on a flatbed tow truck back to Lone Star because the Vette would not start. ON and ON and ON.... OK, I will stop here. Mike
