On the third anniversary of buying my SSR, my driver's door stopped opening from inside the car. I need to open the window and use the outside door handle to open the door.
I'm out of the warranty period and so I want to fix it my self. Does anyone have the part numbers for the plastic clips that was mentioned as the problem? Will the dealer sell these to me? or will they want to install them?
Also, since this seems to be a common problem does anyone know if maybe GM is fixing it free for those out of warranty?
I've got to pull the inside door panel using the directions provided on this site to really determine what is broke. Is there anything else that could also be broke that I should look for?
