Been in that situation before with other vehicles too.

I went to the heads of the show and voiced my opinion with others present. Puts them in a bad spot. Was told that my vehicle was too new. But whe I showed them the flier it didn't have a cut off date for vehicles, so they had no choice but to judge mine along with everyone else. I didn't win that show (had my 1900 GMC modified 4x4), but I did find out which ones did. One was a 88 Chevy lowrider p/u (incomplete), 81 chevy short box p/u (everyday street car), and a 78 Ford Bronco (custom pianted, but rusty)

Needless to say I don't attend that show any more, nor do I promote to others who ask about it.
