There seems to be some misconception as to the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise as being a SSR Rally, it is not.

The Daytona Beach Dream Cruise is sponsored by Daytona Beach and the Daytona Beach Hot Rod Club. The Event Director is Rick D’Louhy

We are only a small part of the 1200 cars expected for the Cruise.

If you have another Hotel you would prefer, by all means go there, you do not HAVE to stay at the LaQuinta.

Several places have been suggested for dinner, we are all on our own. Some will be going to “Under the Bridge” others may prefer, Olive Garden, it doesn’t matter. Where ever you would like, get your SSR Friends together and pick a place.

Now my take on it:

Dingbat - Mike had the Idea and started this Thread and I thank him for that.

I stayed at the Racetrack Hilton in March and it is nice.
While in Florida, I'm more of a Beach Person.

I have eaten at many Olive Gardens and I'm sure I will again.
While in Florida, I'm more of a Seafood person. Breakfast (ask peters57chevy), Lunch (ask a few of our Florida Fanitic Friends) and Supper (ask several more of our Florida Fanatic Friends).

No matter where you stay, what you eat, what you drive, what time you get up, what time you go the sleep, how you dress, how you do your hair, or don't if it's gone (couldn't resist), as long as you are somewhat clean, and brush your teeth or put them in the glass over night (couldn't resist again), and promise not to pee in the pool or spa, you are more than welcome and encouraged to be a Equal part of OUR gathering.

Kim & I are planning on a Great time with ALL of you.
