Thanks everybody for the quick reply, I feel fairly confident the ignition is the culprit I would like more detail on how the switch gave a low voltage to the shift solenoid in the transmission with the po-973 code and also forgot to mention that my cruise quit working at the same time is this pretty common too? I suppose when the limp mode goes into effect maybe it over rides the cruise? Thanks again; Dave
