We are leaving on Monday, August 18, for our trip to Durango.
My plans are to leave Plano @ 9:00a. for a nice leasurely drive to Amarillo. I'll be staying
The Hampton Inn, I-40west.
Tuesday morning, @ 6:30 - 9:00a, we are leaving for Albuquerque, and should arrive @ 12:30 - 1:00p. just in time for lunch. I was thinking that Weck's was going to be a good place to stop. The tough part will be picking the right one, since there are 10 of them here.
We willl be staying at
The Route 66 Casino, we will be meeting up with Mickey,, Deb, Melvin & Johna.
Wenesday morning, I believe our plans are tto leave early enough to go to
The Grand Canyon for Lunch and a Photo Op.
If you have never visited the Grand Canyon, this is a definite contender for the Bucket List.
After lunch and the usual milling around, we will leave for a drive back to Flagstaff, where we all will be checking in to our respective Hotels.

The following morning we leave in a mass exodus, with the Western Contengency of SSR's, on our way to 4 corners.
