04 UV, BOD 2-18-04, SN 5550, lots of polished billet, Superchips, K&N - Previous 03 and 05 owner

I've stripped and polished my center cover and it looks very chrome like, matches other billet and chrome parts. It's not hard to do, I've done it for a few members as well, just a little messy. There have been others that sent the part out for real chrome. The plastic separates from the metal if you want to send it out, just needs some heat and persuasion.

There are a few people that sent out the larger plastic cover for chrome as well but the results are mixed. If someone made an actual metal part in place of the plastic and had it chromed there may be some interest.
