OK, some good feedback. Thanks.

We are making other items currently in a chromed plastic that WILL take the underhood temperatures and looks EXACTLY like an electroplated chrome finish.

I was going to use the original cover as an additional member and make the new cover to go over it. You would not be able to tell. This way the original supports are still intact.

Other thoughts were to change it's shape or add ribs or some other decorative design rather than just smooth or change it entirely. Thoughts here are appreciated as well. Can't do any chevrolet TM's however.

My 05 SSR will be the test subject.

I know the qty's would be relatively small here, just wanted to make it worthwhile.

Price wise, around 350-400 USD. Once I do the chrome can also do CF look too.
