It really stinks to lose a parent, especially before the "Holidays", but there never really is a good time for it to happen. Such is life. We are born, we live, and we pass on. It's best to make the most of the time you have, because you never know how long it will last.

I lost my father 5 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. It will be tough for you, in the beginning, but as time goes on it will get better. Keep in mind that your extended family feels your sorry and shares your pain. God Bless.
