SSR won't shift out of PARK

I knew I was going to jinx myself this morning when I posted that I did not have the ignition problem after 158k miles

So after a couple of tow trucks and 5 hours, I finally have my SSR sitting in my drive way. Now I need to figure out how to get it out of park.

I can put the key in and start up fine. I just cannot push the button down on the shifter to get it out of park.
Any suggestions?
Todd has offered to help me out by looking at the solenoid? to determine if the brake pedal is being pushed. I wasn't sure if it was the same one as the one for the top, but I can put the top down.

Well...anyway it will remain sitting in my driveway until I can get it out of park
